Spell Check

I have Outlook Express 6 and can't get the automatic
spell checker to work. I set to always check spelling
before sending messages but I receive an error message
that says "The spell check on this document was halted.
Do you want to send anyway?" My understanding is that
Outlook uses a dictionary for Office; my initial computer
build did not come with Office but I installed Office 97
Professional from CDs I own. How can I get Outlook
Express to use the Office 97 dictionary or another one
that my system must have installed? Thanks.

I am running Xp and have a similar problem with the
autosend, do you also get an error when you manually
click on the spell check in outlook express? I do, and i
cannot find a fix. I hope this problem can be fixed as
i'm cutting and pasting into word to spell check and then
pasting back, and this is tedious.

Yes, a manual spell check produces the same error
