spell check

I installed Word 97 so that I would have the spell check feature in my
Outlook express. I have checked the box in spelling but get the message "the
spell check on this document was halted. Would you like to send it anyway?"
when I try to send a message with words misspelled. My last computer used
Windows XP and with this Word 97 installed would spell check. Could it be a
newer version of Outlook Express won't check with such an old version of
Word? Help!

This group is for Outlook which is a different program to Outlook Express,
try an OE newsgroup.
