Bring along the .wab file if you want the old contacts list (address book).
After you copy the files to a directory on your new computer, make
sure the copies are read-write instead of readonly before you import
them into Windows Mail.
I'm not familiar with a spelling check you download.
However, you may want to try to activate the English spelling
check that comes with Windows Mail. It comes with the
default language for spelling checks only partly set to English;
not enough to work. To correct this, click on Tools, then
Options, then Spelling. Click on the triangle to the right of
English, then some other language, then Apply, then the
triangle again, then English, then Apply again. If you also
make some changes above this on the same screen, click
on Apply afterwards. Click on OK.
