Spell Check on Reply or Forward

I'm using Outlook 2000 SR-1. and "Ignore oringinal message text in reply or forward" is checked. However, spell check checks the entire document including the original. I've tried unchecking and closing Outlook; then restarting and rechecking "Ignore original..." -- nothing seems to fix. Originally, it worked perfectly. Any ideas

Many thanks

I had the same problem until I was advised to turn off "Prefix each line
with..." Then it worked fine!

Thanks, but I don't have a "Prefix each line with..."
option (or I can't find it if I do).

I am using 2003, but I am sure 2000 had it as well.
The path in Outlook 2003 is: Tools>Options>Preferences tab and click the
Email Options button. Must be somewhat similar in 2000.

Right. It is there. But "Prefix each line with..." wasn't
selected. So I tried choosing that, then going back to
the original "Include and indent original message text".
Still having the same problem.
