Okay here's a simple question that you all should be able to help with
please.
In Office XP, English Canada is selected as the default dictionary though in
Outlook whenever I'm sending a message English US is the dictionary refered
to. I've checked in each of the programs and Canada is the default.
I just want to spell colour properly folks. TIA for any and all
suggestions.

In Outlook you also have to do Tools, Options, Spelling
tab and select the Dictionary

I'm also getting this for English UK, I've changed the
settings as you explained, but no joy. I too want to spell
colour correctly!

Thanks Ruth, this I've already done and verified with the other
co-inhabitants of the Office package that English(Can) is selected. There
are no custom dictionaries that I'm using, and still when I compose and send
a message I am forced to use the USA English dictionary.
Until Skynet becomes aware I want to be incharge of this expensive paper
weight on my desk!
Are there any other suggestions? TIA.

Just a 'bump' to see if anybody has any other ideas. This isn't a big
problem more like a loose tooth you can't leave alone.
