Spell check keep using French

When spell chekcing a document, Word keeps popping up with French & English(UK) spelling options. Neither of these languages is activated in the language settings and the Dictionary is set to English (US). Can any oe help me solve this problem? Thanks.
 
What language is the text formatted as? Select a paragraph and go to Tools |
Language | Set Language. Also, what language is selected as the default in
Windows Control Panel | Regional Options?
