Spell check for smart art Office 2007

Currently i am unable to use spell check on the informaiton i put in to smart
art using word 2007. Is there a way to change this.
Also when i cut the words and paste them in the document they are not
checked for spelling.
HELP!

Hi Sal,

You can spell check SmartArt in Powerpoint 2007 but usually not in SmartArt in Word 2007 SmartArt.

You can create an outline in Word and check then paste to the text input box of SmartArt.

Pasting from SmartArt to the Word document whether the text picks up a language attribute can depend on the paste settings and the
surrounding text in the the document (as far as language/proofing settings from Review=>Proofing=>Set Language and paste options in
Word Options).
