Spell and grammar checker

I'm trying to spell check my document. The spell checker was set for French.
I set it to english and it see's to show the language as english, yet the
spell checker and grammar options all appear in French still. How can I
reset the spell and grammar checker to use English??

For an existing document, Ctrl+A to Select All, then go to Tools | Spelling
and Grammar and make sure that the correct language is selected. To change
the default language for new documents, see
