Speed of network card..

I am trying to find what speed my ethernet card is running at. I looked at
the LAN settings and all I see is that it is a certain type of card that
runs at 100 or 10 mbits.
I need to see what speed it really is running at (100 or 10 mbits) plus
whether it is in half duplex or full duplexx.

Does anyone know where I can find that . And is it difficult to change the
card from Full Duplex to Half Duplex??

In Network Connections, right click on the connection and select Properties.

Thanks Kip for the tip. I had already done that, but there is nothing on
that page that will allow me to change the speed of the connection. Nor
does it tell me that the 100mbits is running at full or half duplex.

Maybe this has to be done on a command line using some sort of command that
will allow one to see the type of ethernet connection and not only at what
speed but whether it was running at full or half duplex.

You can change the properties of the network card from Control
Panel>Sytem>Hardware>Device Manager>Network Adapters>right click on your
card> Advanced> and then choose a Property and set a value. On mine, under
"Link Speed/Duplex" there's 100mbps, 10mbps full, and 100/10 half. Mine is
set to Auto negotiate.

hope this helps a little more,
