specialfile.exe and znksvc32.exe

I recently had to reinstall Windows XP on my laptop after
formatting the hard drive.

Immediately after installing and connecting to the Internet,
two programs began to run which appear to access the
Internet : specialfile.exe and znksvc32.exe.

Can someone tell me what these two programs are?

You have worms in your computer. Perform a scan:

Thanks for the info. I haven't installed SP2 yet (I have just done
a fresh reinstall of XP from the CD). I have Norton Internet Security
so I can block these two programs. I'll also try the scan you suggest.
