Are they connected properly to the computer? Are they muted either on the
speakers themselves or through the properties of the Audio Control applet?
Has your sound card/chip failed? Do you have the correct drivers for your
sound card/chip installed?
Thema, go to Control Panel>Sound and Audio Devices Icon. Double click and
under Volume select Advanced. Make sure
that no Mute boxes are checked there and the Sliders are up at least
half way.
