Did you check in Control Panel> Sounds and Audio> Speakers> Advanced yet?
Select your speaker setup from the provided list. Click OK.

look under accessories and see if there is a SB Config
Icon. SB is for Sound Blaster and chances are you have it
currently set for 2 and not for 4 or 5 or whatever else
you have for config options. Check it out.
