spamkiller is killin me

I downloaded on Friday mcafee spamkiller, firewall, and
virus scan. all say there engaged but i don't get any
emails. what's up with this? also my ad-aware is still
picking up bugs. PLEASE HELP. i SPENT 4 HOURS TRYING TO
FIGURE THIS OUT..

Re AdAware - what do you mean by "it's still picking up bugs"? What is it
seeing? Are you quarantining/deleting all the items it detects?

well, it could be that you have no real friends and all those emails you
were getting were from spammers. or it could be that mcafee isn't working.
in the first case, turn off the computer and go get a life. in the second
case uninstal mcafee or turn it off and see if you can get your mail again,
then troubleshoot the mcafee setup.
