Spam Filtering

Can anyone tell me the benefits of having a spam filtering service such
as Postini? Is it worth whatever they charge, or can a server side
software solution do the trick?

I think it depends on your team size and their workload. We used
BrightMail inhouse for a while, but decided it was too much of a
hassle. We have switched to postini. It works great for us, and
totaly frees up the resource to do other things.

We have about 50 or so users, 10 of which heavily use email. I'm just
trying to reduce costs as much as possible.
