spam and OWA

John

I have the junk email filter set to Safe Lists Only, so
when I am in the office, everything that is not is my
address book goes to the Junk Email folder. However, when
I am out of the office and check email via OWA, the
majority of emails end up in my Inbox. Is the Junk E-mail
filter "client-only" and is there any way around this?

John,

If you are using Outlook 2003 in Cached mode then the Junk filter will
operate on both message content and sender domain. However, if Outlook is
shut down and you are only accessing your email via OWA then the server-side
junk filtering will only operate based on sender domain.

Hope this helps.
