Spacing Issue between Words in a document

L

Liz J

Hi,

I have a document that has several paragraphs. There are some paragraphs
that have 2 spaces in between each word and others that have just 1 spaces in
between words. For example, the a typical sentence in the doucment might
look something like this (take note of the spacing issue):
To maintain product differentiation following the introduction of its
mass market diffusion brand, the Company expanded its offering of
technical performance products.

Is it possible for me to set the document to have each paragraph only have 1
space in between words? If so, could you please show me those steps?

Thanks!

That could only have happened because someone (accidentally or
deliberately) typed two spaces after each word. Fix it with Find/
Replace (Ctrl-H). Just type two spaces in the Find box, one space in
the Replace with box, and click Replace All. It'll even tell you how
many times it did it.

(Keep doing it until it reports 0 replacements, and you will have
gotten rid of all the extra spaces, no matter how many there were in a
row.)

Or with the wildcard option set, search for
([ ]){2,}
replace with
\1
and remove the lot in one pass.
