Are you missing a video card??? I think you are... but everything does sounds very good... especially the whole Burn proof processor and I.C.E. feature. May I recomend a video card for you...

Seeing that you are already willing to spend over 2k how about these two cards... one is a bit of a budget card but very good... I have installed one on freinds pc and it works well with decent software bundled. The other is a very well know good rated card almost anyone would recomend.

EDIT: OMG I just got that LiteOn drive... Its good in my opinion. You will need to get the firmware from it.. takes 10 seconds.. Very fast drive... supports any disk you put in it.. can get kinda loud sometimes when burning... not recognised by one or two of my programs... Comes with Power DVD bundled which is great software.

That's a socket A architect ... it's 20years old, it's cheap, its pretty ... I would NOT buy it for games.

Used with Linux, would make it a great little FaD cruncher. :p

Which CPU would you be putting in that Shuttle unit, as it doesn't already come with one?

I was under the impression that it included this one ,

Processor

AMD Athlon XP / Duron in the 462 pin package with 200/266/333/400MHz FSB

but I am starting to get confused as I've been researching for two days .

Looks good

I have an SN41G2V2, Which is basically the one you are looking at but only without SATA support. They are interesting, because although you really CANNOT OVERCLOCK THE PROCESSOR WHATSOEVER they DO let you overclock graphics cards more than normal - because when you take the lid off (which takes about 5 seconds) the graphics card is left completely open to the air! Whatsmore, if you then purchase a cheap USB fly-fan and AIM that at your graphics card.....HEY PRESTO!

But yeah, they look SUPER cool - and if you like everything about building your PC except for the screwing-in-the-motherboard bit, they are ideal. Beware that they are paranoid little things when it comes to heat - Make sure you use the correct about of thermal paste, because they like to switch themselves off more prematurely than a regular board - you may find you will have to press ON then RESTART immediately afterwards in that scenario.
