Space between words

Using MS Word 2000, how do I check a document for the number of spaces
between words? Thanks!

If you do a Word Count (Tools menu), you can also see the number of
characters with spaces and the number of characters without spaces. If you
subtract these two figures it should equal your word count if you have only
one space between words.

If you want to make sure that you have only one space between words you can
use Replace to replace two spaces with one space.

Hope this helps.

Switch on the display of non-printing characters (by clicking the paragraph
mark button or via Tools > Options). Spaces are shown as a center dot.

Hello, Rae,

Thank you so much for your answers to my post! Actually, your second method
solved two problems for me! What a gal you are.

All the best,
