If this happens in all applications, some wag has re-mapped your keyboard to
make the spacebar operate as enter. Who has access to your PC?
You should be able to re-map it back again with a registry hack - or you
could try a utility such as http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,22060-order,1-page,1-c,alldownloads/description.html,
however I have not tried this particular one - and the problem is not
related to Word, so a Windows forum would be the place to get further
advice.
