Setting Up Track Changes

I want to set up track changes so that when I make changes in the document,
the vertical bar is placed in the margin of the document, but my deletions
are actually deleted. I do not want to see the old text and the new text
together. I want the old text deleted and I want to see the vertical bar in
the margin. How can I set my options to make this happen?

Set the format for Deletions to Hidden and insertions to None. Note that
this will NOT affect what other users see; if you send the document to
someone else, the recipients Track Changes settings will apply.
