SP4 messed up IIS!

Hello,

I want to upgrade to SP4 for Windows 2000.

I did try it - but it totally messed up IIS. It would not let me
reinstall it, basically telling me I could not log in.

I did the rollback of SP4 and it was fine.

Is there a bugaboo with SP4 and IIS 5.0 installs?

Your question is a little unclear. I assume you tried to install SP4 and IIS was messed up afterwards. I do not know what you mean by "I tried to re-install it." What is "it?" IIS SP4 what? Not able to login "into Windows?" That is not an IIS issue. Not able to "login to IIS?" IISAdmin service would not start?

You rolled back to SP3 I assume.

And so now you could log in and IISAdmin service started?

Not that I know of.
