SP4 Install continous reboot

Hello!,
I just finished installing service pack 4 on my windows
2000 Professional desktop. The problem is, after
installation the computer is in some kind of continuous
reboot loop. The system reboot kicks off immediately
before hitting the logon (user name, PWd and Domain name)
screen.
I dont have the option of not having service pack 4.
Please help!!!

i'm having the same problem whith a HP vectra VEi8
PIII/500 mhz and it is very difficulte too have a solution
