sp4 - archive files

i'm trying to upgrade a Win2k AS sp3 box to sp4. Of course I want to
archive files, however every time i try, i get the message that my sp3 files
are going to be overwritten. I have to cancel out of the install, then try
again. I've even specified a different directory, but it still wants to
overwrite my sp3 uninstall files.

What gives? Any suggestions?

Hi,

When you previously installed SP3 you probably chose to archive your files
as recommended. Now that you are updating from SP3 to SP4 and archiving
files again the the previously archived files will be overwritten meaning
after you install SP4 you can only go back to SP3, but no longer to the SP
level before that. That's what is indicated by this message.
