SP3 USB issues

I have a new PC. I Built it with XP Home SP3 OEM version. I have issues with
my MP3 player and printer not working right. to be more clear the mp3 player
drivers will not install correctly. I have used this mp3 player successully
many times befor on my sp2 machines. My printer continues to report off line.
can I downgrade to sp2?

You can try killing the USB ports in the device manager and then reboot.
Windows should reinstall the drivers from the SP3 sources.

I had no issues with USB ports and SP3.
