After I installed SP3 I lost connectivity to the internet. Device manager
shows Error Code 38 for Packet Scheduler under network adapters. Installed
SP3 and all is well again. I tried reinstalling drivers while SP3 installed
but no luck. Any ideas?

One assumes you *uninstalled* SP3 and all was well again.

Device Manager may not show any devices and Network Connections may not show
any network connections after you install Windows XP Service Pack 3

Windows XP SP3-based client computers cannot access the network when some
DHCP information is unavailable

Free unlimited installation and compatibility support is available for
Windows XP, but only for Service Pack 3 (SP3), until 14 Apr-09. Chat and
e-mail support is available only in the United States and Canada. Go to

XP" then select "Windows XP Service Pack 3"
