Help!

Having problems installing SP2 with Win XP Pro

Have 2 Virtually identical PC's
Both
Athlon 3000's
Sata HDD
DVD / DVDRW CDRW
LAN & Modem
ATI Radeon AGP X8
Both 512MB RAM

Only difference is that one is Athlon 64.

Normal Athlon PC works OK
Athlon 64 gets to log on, goes to desktop, shuts itself
down. Blue screen error.
Suggests hardware fault i.e. Video / RAM.
Have swapped video & RAM between PC's with no change.

Both PC's have AVG & Zone Alarm running.

Any suggestions welcomed.
