I really would like to know if I need to download SP2, in
my computer window xp, becouse I hear many people had
problems after. I am afraid to do it. Beside that I try
to back up my files but when I look the program for back
up I do not find in accesories, how I can do it. Thanks.

NTBACKUP is not installed by default in Windows XP Home:

If Windows XP Home is OEM, the files may not be there.
In that case if a back-up application is wanted, a 3rd party product
is necessary.

You probably need SP-2.

Upgrading your OS Win XP to SP2 makes your system more secure and stable with
the features it has included, if you connect your system to Internet then it
is more than necessary to upgrade it yes there are many issue arising due to
update BUT correspoding resoultions are also there. Choice is yours!
