My computer started downloading sp 2 last night aug23,04 around 3am I had to
reboot about 8am this morning aug24,04 and log back on the web[dialup].When I
did my computer started downloading sp2 again where it left off,which was at
49% completed.It is now 430pm and the download is still at 49%.......why so
slow.Has it stopped downloading?
 
At least you got to 40% LOL!
Mine sat at 0% for almost two days....
And I got mad and turned it off.
Many Many people over in the newsgroups at Windows Update are having the same issue with 0%

No I have no clue as to why this is happening I'm confused as to all "heck" as to what's going on...

I'm on cable and like I said mine sat for almost 2 days without doing anything.

Wait another day and leave it online.
 
maybe remove spyware from your system :)
