SP2

I have had people to say not to download SP2 at this time because there are
some quarks to it. What is the advantage of downloading it vs not
downloading it at this time? Will there be an update to this one in the near
future?

Like anything else that's new, there are bound to be problems and bugs.
Having been an SP2 beta tester I can safely say the pros outweigh the cons.
The protection offered in SP2 makes it worth installing. You have nothing to
lose as you can always uninstall it.
