To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW

Press ctrl-alt-delete to call up task manager, use the New Task button to
run the command

ctrl-alt-delete doesnt work either

mark, I am having the same problem that john is having here. My computer
didn't come with a windows xp or startup disk of any kind. sol #875350
requires a windows xp disk. I tried using the ctrl + alt + del, but I get an
error there too. Any other suggestions?
