SP2 uninstalled and now cannot reinstall it

I installed this a couple weeks ago and ever since I
cannot use www.ebates.com to get discounts at any of the
stores. One machine works fine with the install and
ebates works no problem but not my machine and my machine
is alot faster and better than the one that works. I
don't get it. So I uninstalled SP2 thinking that if I
reinstalled it, perhaps it would fix the problem. But now
it fails to install everytime I try to.

What can I do to install it again?

When does it fail (in what step of the installation process)?

How does it fail, any messages etc.?

Some log files you can check for any clues or error messages:

%windir%\WindowsUpdate.log (if you installed SP2 from WU)
%windir%\Svcpack.log
%windir%\setupapi.log

(%windir% is typically C:\Windows)

You could also post the last 20-30 lines from the log files
here (those logs that indicates an error).
