SP2 still installing segments

After more than 3 weeks, I finally got tired of the daily downloads and
downloaded/installed SP at once. Except for slow shut downs (no big deal),
everything works fine. However, Microsoft is still sending small segments
everyday. How can I shut it down?

Leroy;
Turn off Automatic Update:
Right click My Computer
Click Properties
Click Automatic Update tab
Check "Turn off Automatic..."
Click OK.

Follow step 5 on this link:
http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/spack.htm
That will delete what is downloaded.

Reboot

Then go back to Automatic Updates and set as desired.

Are you sure something is coming from Automatic update?

Could it be a virus or spyware?

Yes, I started it myself on Sept.9 as one of three options. One option was
to download it at once, which I finally did. I check my system often for
spyware, viruses, and adware.
