Hey,

My OEM Windows CD has already SP1 integrated.
When I try to slipstream SP2 I get more than 800M
and cannot burn them on a CD.

Any suggestion what can be done?

Thanks.

That's probably because it has other applications included by the OEM such
as Microsoft Works and/or AOL and Norton.... do you have the capability to
burn to a DVD? You can boot from a DVD just as you can do a CD.

Check the files you are slipstreanming very carefully.
Are you including something that you shouldn't?

P.S. OEM is OK, no matter what you might hear.

Perhaps, perhaps not. The slipstreamed XP is fine, but the other junk
that might be on the CD too could be causing the size problem.

Are you adding SP2 in additon to SP1, if this is the case, your not going to
get anywhere.

Copy all XP files to your hard drive, in the i386 directory, replace all
files in there with the SP2 files. Notice that the size is better?
