Hi -

How come when I installed RC2 it will not regonize my Norton 2004 Virus
Scanner? It recommended to run automatic update I did that. So now I have
it on Do not monitor - I will monitor it my self. Does anyone know what I
can do about this?
Thanks!!!!

I have seen other posts about it.Seems that every version has a issue
with Norton, or is it that Norton has a issue with Windows?

This is the norm so far as the Release candidates go. Norton will update
their applications as soon as the final release is issued of SP2. For now,
you have things set correctly, and Nortons will continue to work as is.

Why do you say that?? I've been using Norton SystemWorks with RC2, and they seem to play together very well. What problems are you having?

Norton and Windows are not good bedfellows

There are many KB's about "this" problem and "that"problem with Norton.
I didn't like the way Norton took over my computer(McAfee either).

You should uninstall Norton Antivirus before installing SP2 then reinstall
Norton Antivirus. That's the only way to bring your antivirus back to
normal. It works for me. : )
