Help! SP2 RC2 (build 2149) installation failure

LW

Hi all,

I got SP2 RC2 installation failure. An extended error has occurred while
"performing cleanup" during "finishing installation". Reboot and met the
post installation procedure from Security Centre ...and so on. The Windows
seems work fine, stating SP2 build 2149 installed, except I found the Network
Connections panel has gone.
It's now nothing happen when I click the Properties of My Network Places
from the desktop nor the Network Connections from Control Panel. In fact,
those network connections defined before RC2 are there and work fine.

How may I mend this broken link to invoke the Network Connections page?
Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,
Lincoln Wong

Send bug report to Microsoft beta. That's why they call it
beta. You could try to uninstall and then reinstall.I
downloaded it a few days ago and for me-everything went fine.
