SP2 - Pick a time?

On the WU web page on the right there is a prominent message:
"Your computer is set to receive security & critical updates
automatically."

I click this link
"Pick a time to install updates."

but nothing happens.

What should happen, and how can I fix it please?

It is supposed to just open a smaller Automatic Updates panel and lets you
select a day and time for automatic update checking.
On the cut down panel is another button that when clicked opens the full one
in control panel.
So all it is doing is letting you set when XP checks for updates.
You may as well just leave the automatic update set to enabled.
