SP2 Performance Problems

Is it just me or does win xp sp 2 bog down everyone elses
machine too? I installed sp2 on two computers. Now boh
seem to run very slow.

Have you tried running a disk defragment and a check disk
since installing SP2?

I had similar problems, defragging helped a little, but the only solution was
to uninstall SP2 and reinstall XP.

Now everthing is back to normal and I will not be reinstalling SP2 as it
causes too may problems.

And what's your point? Just because you didn't properly prepare your
system for update and know how to fix the issue doesn't mean it can't be
fixed for others.
