Have 6 floppies SP2 but can not reinstall SP2

After the set up, the program calls for the SP 2 CD. Put it in, same request
again, take it out, again same request. What can I do? The floppies were well
for SP2 and not for XP Home.

My program is in too bad shape to repair I think. Many programs don't even
show including Win XP.

I BU my files. Files are BU.

Any help very very welcome.

"Anachronism" Probably. Certain. I am fighting with this PC, every day, since around middle of June when I bought Vista. And returned it one week later. I could go not back to XP because I could not find the file " Window.old"

I wanted to reinstall XP without having to reformat. One try was 315341 but
I was unable to integrate SP2 in XP.

Later followed www.michaelstevenstech.com/clean.txt. First the 6 floppies
for SP2.
Message came out after the setup that a file was corrupt. Copied them again
but had to abandon because the text was not readable..

Last resort was to use the XP Home Edition. During the setup, again the text
was scramble. Lucky I clicked the right buttons, Why?? but it is running now.
In a couple of days I will install SP2.

I wanted to clean install XP. I finished by using the XP CD following
www.michaelstevenstech.com/clean.txt advice. Well explained. Check his site,
you never know.

it is running using the CD. Avoid "Achronims? yes. I re-wrote the text at
least 3 times and I am tired, tired. it's over for now. You know my age: same
as Castro's. That's the only reason why I would bring up his name.
