SP2 - no windows network (smb) when disabling firewall service

Hello,
when i disable the firewall service my local network workgroups aren't
accessible (timeout). Static ip and gateway is set and so far everything
works (internet, ping,...) but windows network.
When i reenable the firewall service i can access my own client via network
neighborhood.
Problem persists since sp2.
Anyone know how to run windows network (smb) without firewall service?

I have the same problem here. After instaling SP2 my network connection
icon is on but ther is no traffic. When i disable Windows Firewall the
problem still exist. When i disable and endable again my LAN connection i
have for few second connection with my network but after few seconds it
still no traffic!!!!!!!!!
