SP2 installation problem

I can't not get SP2 to install. There is an error while backing up files.
SCESVR.dll can not be copied and I don't know if that is why I can't get SP2
to install. I skip over the scesrv error and all other files copy fine...and
instalation continues for a brief moment.

Then it says "an exception occured in the service when handling the control
request" and that's it.

I have XP Home

Try installing SP2 in Safe Mode (F8 on restart) You already own the files,
and can run the setup again from a path that will look something like:

..../SoftwareDistribution/.../update/update.exe
