SP2 Install from CD Freezes

Hi,

I've tried installing SP2 from download before, but it always quit working.
I ordered the CD and it still quit's doing anything while it's at "Creating
restore point'. It's been stuck on that for more than 24 hours now.

The PC's not frozen up. It shows that WPSP2.EXE is active and everything is
responding.

I'll appreciate any helk. Thanks!!

When trying to install SP2 - are you disconnected from any online
connectiion? Are all peripherals off and disconnected? Is your firewall,
virusscanner, spy sweeper, etc turned off?
