SP2 has removed wireless network

I just upgraded my laptop with SP2 and suddenly my internet access through my
wireless network is unavailable. I'm typing this on my still working desktop
that has been running SP2 for months and works fine. It is not my network as
nothing has changed with it.

The wireless network connection is just showing "No wireless networks were
fournd in range."

I've tried anything and everything to resolve this. Running the wireless
network wizard bonks at the "Set up a network manually" saying "Depending on
the wireless software running on this computer, the Wireless Network Setup
Wizard might not work. For details see article 871122 in the Microsoft
Knowledge Base on Microsoft.com."

I check that out and the "Wireless Zero something or other" is currently
running and active on the computer.

I've disabled the Windows Firewall and my McAfee Firewall.

Please help if you can!

Thanks,

This sounds like the existing version of "Wireless Zero something or other"
is not compatible with SP2. You need to contact the maker to get an updated
version.

You were supposed to obtain the latest and greatest versions of all critical
software before installing such a major piece of code as SP2.
I've disabled the Windows Firewall and my McAfee Firewall.
Only one firewall at a time please (McAfee probably disabled the Windows
firewall). Disabling the firewall surely made no difference.
