SP2 Downloaded but unable to be successfully installed

Hi all,
I have the same problem with TIA, Nick posted on 4/7/2006 4:51 PM PST. After
go to Microsoft Update, was so happy to see the SP2 was downloaded, but tried
many time still showing me that "Updates were unable to be successfully
installed".

Please help.

Check for damaged/missing system files:
Start/Run
Type "sfc /scannow" ENTER
Have the Windows XP CD available..
