SP2 computer shuts down

I have succesfully installed SP2. When i try to connect to
Internet my computer shuts down. BCCode:1000008e
BCP1:C0000005 BCP2:00000155 bcp3:F5CF0824
BCP4:00000000 OSVer:5_1_2600 SP:2_0 Product 768_1
Any suggestions?

please have a look at http://www.michna.com/kb/WxSP2.htm. Check
also the chapter on "Boot or shutdown problems after Service
Pack 2 installation".

One suspicion is a driver problem of one of the drivers involved
in the Internet connection. Update these drivers to their latest
version.

Yes, I have a suggestion.
1. Remove SP2:

2. Make sure your system has no viruses / spyware:

3. Order XP SP2 CD and install with it -
(temporarily disable your own AV program before installing)

4. Test to see if issue is resolved.
