I'm just wondering if my WMM2.1 is installed properly
after the SP2 update. I've read that there is supposed
to be a third tab with codecs listed that you can check
and uncheck. I do not have that third tab but I do have
all the files listed on Papa Johns website in the WMM
folder. eg wwm2res.dll dated 4/8 etc.

When I go to the help section on the tool bar at the top
and click on "About WMM" it comes up as
version 5.1(......SP2)
Windows Movie Maker version 2.03312.0 This sounds like I
am not completely installed??

(Have tried this question on moviemaker site x2 and no
one seems to help other than-------------->Jerry who says,
"Just checked mine and it came up as version 2.1.4026.0

I'm running XP pro and SP2 is installed.

Have no idea as to why you may have had problems."
I'm having problems with freezing. Please help
Thanks

Go to Tools>Options>Compatibility...there will be a list and you can edit it
as you see fit...

Just checked my version # and it is the same as Jerry's...V 2.1.4026.0. So
it would appear you do not have the newest version.

SP2 isn't working properly. I had to start from scratch
and rebuild the PC (FDISK and reinstall Win XP). Why SP2
was released, is anyone's guess.

Is it true that SP 2 is Beta? That's what Gateway tech
told us. If that's the case, why weren't we informed
beforehand??

Thats what I was suspecting so how do I get the proper
MM2.1 now??? My MM2 no longer works properly. Do I
uninstall SP2. It took over an hour to load it the firt
time. Yikes.
