SP2 and wierd loading

Ever since I installed SP2 on my computer, every time I
double click on an icon on my desktop it tries to open
itself into itself. What I mean is when I double click on
IE, it tries to open ie.exe as a page in IE, or when I
double click winamp, it tries to open winamp.exe as a song
in winamp. Anyone have any idea how to remedy this
annoying little bug?

Have you set your mouse to single-click?

No, I haven't, and I don't even find that option when I go
into "mouse" from control panel.
