Wrong Icons Show up In Folders

I am having some problems with getting the correct icon to show up in my
windows folders. For instance, mp3s are openened by winamp (when I double
click on them they open with winamp), but the icon shows as a quicktime icon.
Same think happens for mpg. In the folder options -> file types they are
set to the correct programs and what appear to be the correct icons, but the
aren't right.

You might want to disable file type associations in quick time. Just go to
the preferences/options in quick time and uncheck for those file types.
