SP2 and Urls with passwords in URL why invalid Syntax ??

SP2 and Urls with passwords in URL why invalid Syntax ??

I uninstalled SP2 just for this reason and a few other things, is
their a setting, security one i persume to make this work again ?

Their was a security patch for this released in February for SP1. You would
have to uninstall this update.
 
Yeah but once you install SP2 how do uninstall one bit ?, dont you
have to uninstall the whole lot ?
