SP2 and Outlook Express

After installing SP2, Outlook Express can no longer synchronize my Hotmail.

I get the followint message:

"Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: 'Hotmail',
Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol:
HTTPMail, Server Response: 'Redirected', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Error
Number: 0x80004005"

I have tried all the techniques in Microsoft bulletins with no success.

I have the same problem. I have searched the Micorsoft knowledge base , these
discussions grooups and cannot find an answer. I hope some has suggestions.

My Outlook Express works OK. The only difference I see is that it is
blocking the pictures from Micrsoft's mail to me as a new security feature
I am not using the built-in XP firewall; I'm using ZoneAlarm Pro.

Suggest you go to the XP SP2 page and use the "troubleshooter" and look
for that particular error number. I had problems with Windows Update and
found the answer there.
