sp2 and outlook express

Please help, i installed the sp2 update and now outlook express has locked
my out of my accounts.
When i click the icon i get no identity selected, and am given my old
account in the options but when i select it it asks for a password? but i
never had a password on outlook?

please help.

I've try'ed that, ....... and every other password i could have ever used to

I posted a similar query on 9/2 as I have encountered
the same problem as you. To date, no advice from this
source, but I did manage on my own to do a system restore
to a date prior to the SVC Pk 2 install which got me back
to being able to open up OE without fooling with
identities, but in the process I also lost the Svc Pk2.
I am now trying to figure out how to have both working
simultaneously. I hope the system restore works for you.
If you ever hear of a fix where a person can have both
working properly, please reply to my message of
9/2 "O.E.Cant open".. thanks
